Deir Ezzor instability | Unknown assailants detonate former headquarters of “Self-Defence Forces”, and SDF arrest several young people for unknown reasons

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have told SOHR that unknown gunmen detonated a building which used to be Self-Defence Forces’ headquarters in Theban town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

Meanwhile, SDF arrested several young men while swimming in the irrigation canal in Al-Shuhayl town in eastern Deir Ezzor. The reasons behind arresting these young people remain unknown.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a child was killed and more than 15 people, including children and women, were injured in two consecutive explosions in the market of Al-Busayrah city, east of Deir Ezzor.

 

The first explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) which was followed by a second explosion, while people were checking the human losses at the site of first explosion.
