War in Syria. An airstrike by an unknown drone killed three Iranian soldiers in Syria. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights [SOHR] monitoring group reports that on Saturday, May 23, in the Al-Mayadin desert, in Dir al-Zur governorate, in eastern Syria, a car “connected to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps [IRGC]” was destroyed by an air strike According to SOHR, as a result of the explosion killed three soldiers of the IRGC. SOHR sources say the attack was apparently carried out by an unmanned aircraft. The authorities of Iran and Syria do not comment on this information. The armies of Israel or the United States did not take responsibility for this attack.
