Murder in Daraa | Locals find body of civilian near Tafas city

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that residents found today the body of a young man, lying on the lands around the town of Tafas in Daraa countryside.

According to Observatory sources, the young man is a civilian and was a former opposition fighter in “Ahrar al-Sham” before people’s status in the province was settled.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 473 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 307 persons, 73 of whom are civilians, including seven women and five children, in addition to 162 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

48 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
