“De-escalation zone” | Armed reconnaissance drone crashes in rural Aleppo causing fires, while regime forces targeting agricultural land in Sahl Al-Ghab

SOHR sources say that an armed reconnaissance drone crashed this evening near the town of Kafr Nasih in the areas controlled by HTS and opposition factions in western Aleppo countryside. The drone exploded setting fires on agricultural land.

Meanwhile, a fire broke out near al-Qarqour dam in Sahl Al-Ghab plain, as regime forces targeted agricultural land near the frontlines areas there.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this evening renewed artillery shelling on the villages of Idlib countryside. Regime forces stationed in Idlib countryside shelled the villages of Al-Fatira and Al-Salhiya in southern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported.

Hours earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a rocket attack by regime forces, targeting the village of Al-Fatira in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, in addition to a rocket attack targeting the frontlines of fighting on Ain Issa frontline in Jabal Al-Turkman, north of Latakia. 

Apart from that, tense calm continues in the “Putin-Erdogan” area for the 82nd consecutive day of the new ceasefire.
