Murder | Child stabbed to death in Al-Raqqah city, triggering widespread popular resentment

Al-Raqqah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have monitored widespread popular resentment in Al-Raqqah city following a murder took place yesterday in the city.

A child was found dead in a deserted building in Al-Raqqah city after being stabbed in his heart with a sharp tool. According to SOHR sources, some inner organs of the boy were missing after the autopsy. It is worth noting that the child went missing a few days earlier.

The murder has triggered widespread popular resentment in Al-Raqqah, amid appeals by the locals, via SOHR, to open wide investigation by SDF to determined the circumstances of this incident and hold the perpetrators accountable.

This murder comes as a part of deteriorating security chaos in SDF-held areas across eastern Euphrates region and Al-Raqqah.
