IED attack | Explosions hit Turkish military convoy on M4, leaving many injured

Syrian Observatory activists have reported hearing a loud explosion near Aleppo-Latakia international highway (M4) in Al-Ghassaniyyah area in rural Jisr Al-Shughur. The explosion was caused by targeting Turkish military vehicles with IEDs. The convoy was escorted with other vehicles affiliated to opposition factions.

 

According to SOHR sources, the explosion injured Turkish soldier and officer one of whom sustained serious injuries. Turkish helicopters have transported the injured military personnel to a Turkish hospital in Al-Rayhaniyyah area in Iskenderun region.
