SOHR activists have monitored fierce clashes in the Turkish-controlled city of Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye) in northern Al-Hasakah, between two groups of “Al-Hamzat Division”.

According to SOHR sources, the two sides used rockets and heavy machineguns during the fight which took place among tribal militiamen of the same faction, amid panic prevailing among people there.

A few days ago, SOHR sources reported that fierce clashes erupted in Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye) in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah, between “Suqur Al-Shamal” and the “20th Division”. The clashes came as a part of ongoing armed infighting among Turkish-backed factions, while the reasons behind this fight remained unknown.
