Security chaos in SDF-controlled areas | Unknown assailants attempt to assassinate member of Deir ez-Zour Civil Council

Deir ez-Zor Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that unknown assailants opened fire on a civilian serves as a member of the services committee of Deir ez-Zour Civil Council, on al-Omar oil field road in eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zour, seriously injuring him.

On 22 May, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a civilian of his injuries sustained in an explosion of booby-trapped motorcycle in the town of Al-Busayrah, east of Deir ez-Zor, bringing the civilian death toll to two, one man and a child, and 15 people were injured.
