New joint patrol | Russian and Turkish forces tour M4, while Russian jets flying over Idlib

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored Russian jets flying over Idlib province for the second consecutive day. Meanwhile, Russian and Turkish forces have conducted a new joint patrol on Latakia-Aleppo international highway (M4). The patrol set off from Tarnabeh village in Saraqeb countryside and headed to Muhambal area in western Idlib.

On May 20, SOHR sources reported that Russian and Turkish forces crossed the border of Ariha city for the first time since the recent ceasefire came into effect. The patrol started from Tarnabeh village in eastern Idlib, crossed the outskirts of Ariha until it reached the vicinity of Uram Al-Jouz in rural Idlib.
