Over 3,000 Turkish Military Vehicles Enter Syria Since March
A total of 3,490 Turkish military vehicles have been sent into areas in northern Syria since March, a war monitor reported on Wednesday.
The Turkish forces sent 30 military vehicles on Wednesday evening to Turkish military points in Idlib province in northwestern Syria, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The UK-based watchdog group said 10,400 Turkish soldiers have been deployed in Turkish-controlled areas in Idlib and Aleppo province since March as well.
The Turkish side maintains several observation points in Idlib and the countryside of Aleppo.
On March 5, Turkey and Russian agreed to observe a cease-fire between the Syrian forces and the opposition fighters in Idlib.
The cease-fire is largely holding, but the Observatory frequently reports violations by both sides.
