SDF violations | Members kill child and injure young man, while residents attacking their headquarters in rural Deir ez-Zor

SOHR sources say that a child was shot dead by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) today near the river crossing in the town of Dhiban.

Meanwhile, residents attacked the SDF headquarters in the town. No casualties have been reported.

Moreover, a commander of the SDF opened fire on a young man from the village of Zugair Jazeera in western countryside of Deir al-Zour, seriously injuring him.

On May 23, Syrian Observatory sources reported that tension grew in the SDF-controlled village of Mashikh in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, following an armed fight between “Al-Bakeer” and “Al-Boferio” tribes.

According to SOHR sources, a person from Al-Bakeer tribe was shot dead by unknown gunmen, when he went out to put off the generator in front of his house. People of the victim’s tribe stormed Mashikh village, targeting Al-Boferio tribe as there is an old grudge between the two tribes.

Fierce clashes erupted between the two sides leaving eight persons of Al-Bakeer tribe dead before the attackers left the village.
