Security chaos in Daraa | Locals find unidentified body in Al-Muzayrip

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOH say that residents found today the body of an unidentified young man near the site of the targeting of the Central Committee in the town of Al-Muzayrip, west of Daraa province.

On May 28, SOHR activists documented a spike in the number of casualties following the attack which targeted a group of “Daraa Central Committee” in Al-Muzayrib town in the western countryside of Daraa.

Three people were killed, including a commander, while three others sustained injuries in an ambush by unknown gunmen near the canned food factory in the town.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 486 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 320 persons, 79 of whom are civilians, including seven women and seven children, in addition to 165 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

52 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
