Turkey’s military build-up | Army sets up two new military posts in rural Idlib on Aleppo-Latakia road

SOHR eyewitnesses say that Turkish army have set up two observation posts on Aleppo-Latakia road in Idlib countryside. Several armoured vehicles were stationed near the village of Al-Qiyasat on the international road (M4). Military vehicles were also stationed at the Driving school near the town of Basanqoul.

On June 2, SOHR sources said that a Turkish military column entered via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib, consisting of 20 military vehicles carrying tanks and rocket launchers, heading towards Turkish posts in “Putin-Erdogan” area.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 3,825 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.
