Family clashes | One person killed and another injured in camp for displaced people in eastern Aleppo, and Turkish-backed factions storm the camp

Aleppo Governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that members of the military and civilian police, backed by a military force, stormed today a camp of displaced people in the town of Tarhin, north of Aleppo, searching for wanted persons of displaced families from Al-Safirah in rural Aleppo.

Meanwhile, clashes erupted this afternoon between gunmen of the two families in Tarhin camp in the countryside of al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo. The clashes have left one young man dead and another injured, amid growing tension in the area.

Yesterday evening, the dignitaries of the area intervened to defuse the tension between the two families, after military build-ups by both sides, and shooting in the camp.

SOHR activists have documented the death of an old man affected by injuries he had two days ago after being hit with indiscriminate gunshots fired by a Turkish-backed faction of “Euphrates Shield” in Tukhar Kabeer village in the southern countryside of Jarabulus.

According to SOHR sources, the victim was injured during the tension which ignited in the village after Turkish-backed militiamen assaulted a girl and misbehaved her during a raid on several houses searching for wanted persons.

After that incident, residents gathered in the village condemning the assault on the girl, which met with indiscriminate gunfire by factions of “Euphrates Shield”. The factions’ gunfire injured six persons, including the old man who died this morning.
