Idlib | Revolutionary and civil events commemorate ninth anniversary of the martyrs of “Children of Freedom’s Friday”

SOHR eyewitnesses say that a mass demonstration was held in the city of Idlib, with the participation of revolutionary and civil events, to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the massacre of “Children of Freedom’s Friday” which claimed the lives of dozens of people in the city of Hama.

The demonstrators renewed the Syrian revolution’s demands of freedom and the overthrow of the regime, and called on the international community to hold the killers accountable.

It is worth nothing that the regime forces and loyalists committed the massacre, which claimed the lives of dozens of people, during the popular demonstrations that took place in Al-Assi Square in Hama on Friday, June 3, 2011. It was called the “Children of freedom’s Friday”, which later turned into a symbol of the Syrian regime’s crimes.
