“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces shell rural Idlib, as opposition factions bring in military reinforcement to frontlines

SOHR activists say that regime forces shelled with artillery the villages of Kansafra, Al-Fatira, Benin and Al-Ruwayha in the southern Idlib countryside.

In the meantime, the opposition factions shelled regime forces positions in southern Idlib countryside.

On the other hand, military reinforcement were brought in to the frontlines by opposition factions operating in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”, in the area from Latakia countryside to Aleppo countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored military reinforcement by jihadist factions operating in the operation room of  “Waharid al-Mu’minin” and were brought in to their positions in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib. The reinforcement consisted of military and logistical equipment as well as dozens of fighters, amid a looming military operation.
