“De-escalation zone” | Opposition factions repel infiltration attempt by regime forces in western Aleppo countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this evening violent clashes with medium and light weapons on the frontlines of western Aleppo countryside, following an infiltration attempt by regime forces and loyalists on the frontline of Kafr Ama. No casualties have been reported to date.

SOHR activists say that regime forces shelled with artillery the villages of Kansafra, Al-Fatira, Benin and Al-Ruwayha in the southern Idlib countryside.

In the meantime, the opposition factions shelled regime forces positions in southern Idlib countryside.

On the other hand, military reinforcement were brought in to the frontlines by opposition factions operating in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”, in the area from Latakia countryside to Aleppo countryside, amid a looming military operation.
