SOHR sources say that regime forces were able to regain control of the villages of Al-Fatatra and Al-Manara in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-west rural Hama. The recaptures followed the withdrawal of jihadist groups from the two villages in the wake of Russian airstrikes and intensive regime ground bombardment.

SOHR activists have documented further fatalities as a result of air and ground bombardment and fierce clashes. The death toll of jihadist groups in the “Waharid al-Mu’minin” operations room has risen to 22, including a commander of Syrian nationality, while 19 regime soldiers were killed in the jihadists’ attack.
