Assassination attempt | Masked gunmen attack tow commanders of “Free Army” in Taftanaz town

Idlib province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored an assassination attempt this evening on two commanders of the “Free Army” by masked gunmen inside the town of Taftanaz, who opened fire on them and fled. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory activists documented the killing of a former member of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, who recently joined “Turkistan Islamic Party”. The ex-HTS member died of injuries he sustained in earlier IED explosion nearby Sarmin on the road to Binnish, east of Idlib.
