North of Al-Hasakeh | Three International Coalition vehicles roam Al-Darbasiya area, exploring the military area

SOHR activists have reported seeing three vehicles used by representatives of the United States and the International Coalition in Syria, entering the city of Al-Derbasiya from Al-Hasaka. They stopped for 30 minutes near “Al-Asaish” checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city and toured there.

The vehicles headed near the border area and explored the military posts near the border in the areas controlled by the regime and SDF, taking Al-Derbasiya-Amuda road, stopping at the border point with Turkey in the village of Kharazeh, and then completed their way back to Al-Qamishli.

Syrian Observatory sources confirmed that these cars were carrying English-speaking Americans in civilian clothes, accompanied by an interpreter who inquired about the area and its directions before entering the city.

On June 6, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of a column of the International Coalition into Syrian territory via Al-Walid” border crossing from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, consisting of about 50 trucks carrying logistical and military materials.

The column headed towards the International Coalition base in Tal Baydar in northern countryside of Al-Hasakeh.
