Jihadist organizations in north-western Syria have announced the formation of an operations room under the name “hold out”. A copy of statement obtained by the Syrian Observatory said: “In order to avoid aggressors’ domination and to break the occupiers’ conspiracies” the following factions announce the formation of an operations room under the name “hold out”

  1. Coordination of Jihad
  2. Al-Ansar Fighters Brigade led by Sheikh Abu Malik al-Shami
  3. Ansar al-Islam
  4. Ansar Al-Din front

5- The organization of “Hurras Al-Din.”

It worth nothing that a group of the jihadist factions rejected Sochi agreement, including Hurras al-Din, Ansar al-Din, Ansar al-Tawhid, and Ansar al-Islam, and formed an operations room under the name “Waharid Al-Mu’minin” in October 2018.

On May 18, the Syrian Observatory monitored the graduation of a new batch of fighters of HTS’ “Red Bandages” from training camps in Idlib countryside.

The new batch comprised some 200 fighters received special trainings in street fighting and storming to be sent to the frontlines. A few weeks ago, HTS trained some 140 fighters of “Ali Army”, as members of storming and support on the frontlines.
