Armed robbery in areas held by HTS | Unidentified gunmen attack currency exchanger after leaving Afrin

SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen robbed today a citizen working in the currency exchange a large amount, as he was leaving the countryside of Afrin and heading towards the city of Sarmada.

The attackers hit him with a sharp tool on his head. The stolen amount is estimated at $400,000.

The city of Idlib and all areas controlled by HTS are witnessing a security chaos such as kidnappings, thefts and armed robberies.

On May 21, an unidentified persons kidnapped a jeweler working in Idlib city while he was going home. An armed group also robbed shops in the Atma camps area, north of Idlib.
