“De-escalation zone” | Opposition factions repel infiltration attempt in Sahl Al-Ghab, and regime forces shell rural Hama and Idlib

SOHR sources say that the factions were able to repel an infiltration attempt by regime forces on the frontline of the village of Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama.

In the meantime, regime forces stationed in Jourin shelled the villages of Qastoun in rural Hama and Al-Laj in rural Idlib.

Regime forces also shelled frontlines in Saraqeb area, east of Idlib province. No casualties have been reported.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored today artillery shelling by regime forces stationed in the observation posts in the town of Rabia in Latakia countryside, targeting the frontlines of Jabal Al-Turkman and the supply routes in Latakia countryside.

On the other hand, regime forces have targeted the villages of Benin and Deir Sunbol in southern Idlib province, and near al-Manara village in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama, with the flight of Russian reconnaissance drones over the area of “Putin-Erdogan.”

Regime forces continue to violate the ceasefire in the “Putin-Erdoğan” area. Areas in Al-Fatira, Kansafra, Safohin, Al-Ruweiha, Benin, Halloubeh, Flaifel, Bara, and Al-Ankawi were all targeted this morning in southern rural Idlib and north-west Hama. No casualties were reported.
