First attack of its kind | Unknown gunmen attack regime and Iranian positions in “Triangle of Death ” in rural Daraa

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: fierce clashes erupted yesterday evening on the outskirts of Al-Maal village near the “Triangle of Death ” in Daraa countryside.

 

According to SOHR sources, unknown gunmen have attacked, with machineguns, positions of regime forces and Iranian-backed militias stationed on the outskirts of Al-Maal village in the northern countryside of Daraa. Meanwhile, regime forces have repelled the attack using heavy artillery and tanks. No further details have been reported yet about the amount of losses.

 

After the attack, regime military patrols deployed in inside and around Al-Maal village which is the link between the towns of Kafr Nasij, Al-Tayha and Aqraba, near the “Triangle of Death”, the most prominent stronghold of the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian-backed militias in the region.
