Car-bomb attacks | Explosion in Afrin leaves many injured

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a car-bomb carrying high-explosive materials exploded today in a residential neighbourhood in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin in northern Aleppo. The explosion injured six people, including a child, in addition to causing substantial damage.

 

On June 13, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen shot dead a member of the Turkish-backed “Mohammed al-Fatih Brigade” in Al-Bab city, east of Aleppo province.

 

Meanwhile, engineering teams detonated an IED planted in a car parked in the Mahmoudiyah neighbourhood in Afrin. No casualties were reported.
