IED attacks | Explosion hits “Anti-Terrorism Forces” center in Manbij, killing Asayish female fighter

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that an IED exploded in a vehicle belonging to the Internal Security Forces (Asaish) near the training center of the “Anti-Terrorism Forces” at the Matahin roundabout in the city of Manbij, north-east of Aleppo, causing only material damage.

Second IED exploded after a number of Asayish forces gathered at the scene of the first explosion, killing Asayish female fighter and injuring two civilian passers-by.

On June 18, Syrian Observatory activists documented the killing of a member of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) by mistake, while two women and civilian sustained injuries, because of an armed fight among civilians.

The fight erupted after a dispute among the civilians, while the “Civil Council” of Tal Al-Faydah village in Tal Tamr countryside in rural Al-Hasakah was distributing aid on the village’s locals.
