Idlib | Turkish forces shell regime positions east of Idlib, and fierce clashes erupt on Jabal Zawiya frontlines

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored fierce clashes on the Harsh Binin frontline in Jabal al-Zawiya, as the factions repelled an infiltration attempt by regime forces and loyalists. No casualties have been reported yet.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces stationed at their military posts shelled positions of regime forces, south of Saraqeb. Regime forces shelled the village of Kafr Aweid and Sofohin in Jabal al-Zawiya with heavy machine guns.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored an attack by regime forces and loyalists on the positions of the “National Liberation Front” in Harsh Binin in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib. Violent clashes took place between the two sides, which lasted until the early hours of the morning, with intensive rocket fire. At least four fighters of the factions were killed, in addition to three regime soldiers.
