Security campaign | Regime military intelligence arrests several people in Al-Mayadeen, driving them to reserve military service

Reliable sources have told SOHR that Regime military intelligence has carried out a new campaign of raids and arrests in Al-Mayadeen city. The raiding forces arrested several people and drove them to reserve military service in the ranks of regime forces.

 

Reliable SOHR sources confirmed that the Syrian regime’s intelligence in Al-Mayadeen city in eastern rural Deir ez-Zor, ordered a civilian engineer from the city to sign a document in which he should disown his son, who was a member of the “Economic Security Service” of the Islamic State, he lives now in Turkey. The man was ordered to do so in return for being allowed to return to Al-Mayadeen. The engineer signed the document and disowned his son in public in the city’s square.
