Idlib | War-wounded civilian killed in factional clashes west of the city

SOHR sources say that a war-wounded man was killed in the fierce clashes that resumed today between jihadist factions west of Idlib city. A shell landed near his house in the village of Ma’artin in Idlib countryside, seriously injuring him and died.

It is worth nothing that the civilian was a former fighter in the “Al-Sham Hawks” faction, was wounded in a battle, which led to paralysis in his limbs.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored renewed clashes with machine and heavy guns this evening, between the operations room of “Ethbatu” and HTS, following an attack by HTS on the “Ethbatu” positions in the village of Arab Said on western outskirts of Idlib city, coinciding with exchange of artillery shelling between both sides.

Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored roads cutting off in the western countryside of Idlib, as the feuding factions brought in military reinforcement, with a large deployment of security forces on these roads.

Four civilians, including a woman were injured yesterday, west of Idlib city. Villages and civilian homes in Arab Said al-Habat and Sheikh Ali, west of Idlib city, were shelled.
