Daraa uprising | Night demonstration calling for expulsion of Iranian militias from Syria

Daraa governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR eyewitnesses say that dozens of young men staged a demonstration on motorcycles this evening in the city of Al-Harak, east of Daraa province, chanting anti-regime slogans and demanding the expulsion of Iranian militias from Syria.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a popular demonstration took place in the town of Um al-Mayathin in Daraa countryside. The demonstrators demanded the release of detainees in regime prisons, and an end to security services’ practices in the province, following the arrest of a woman in Daraa al-Mahata.

On June 23, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a demonstration of hundreds of citizens in the city of Bosra al-Sham, east of Daraa province, demanding the expulsion of Iranian militias from the province and the release of detainees from Assad regime prisons.
