Searching for antiquities in Afrin | Turkish-backed factions continue digging in Raju hills

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that Turkish intelligence has dismissed several employees of the civil police in Raju township in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo.

According to SOHR sources, the dismissed employees were arrested for “dealing with Autonomous Administration during its control of Afrin city and countryside”, and they were taken to unknown destination.

Separately, reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that members of the Turkish-backed faction “Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah” continue digging and excavation in a hill in the eastern part of Kura village of Raju township. The faction used advanced machineries for digging, searching for antiquities. The Turkish-backed militiamen also felled tens of fruit-bearing trees during the ongoing excavation and digging operations.
