“Save the Prisoners” | People demonstrate in several areas across Syria, demanding the toppling of regime and the release of detainees

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored demonstrations, dubbed “the prisoners are not just numbers, save the detainees”, in several Syrian areas this afternoon.

 

Demonstrations took place in Al-Jiza town in eastern Daraa, and in Daraa Al-Balad, during which the demonstrators called for the toppling of the Syrian regime and the expelling of Iranian militias from Syria. The demonstrators lifted signboards with slogans written on them read “from the glorious Hauran to the buster of Iran, this land is too precious to be ruled by Al-Assad militias” and “we demand the release of prisoners held in regime prisons – freedom, dignity and holding Al-Assad accountable are our legitimate demands”.

 

On the other hand, people demonstrated in Idlib city and the towns of Killi and Atma in northern Idlib. The demonstrators demanded the release of detainees and the toppling of Syrian regime. They also chanted slogans confirmed their adherence to the principles of the Syrian revolution.
