Regime crackdown | “Military security” arrests five young people for unknown reasons in Daraa

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that regime soldiers stationed at a checkpoint affiliated to the “military security” services at the entrance of Daraa city in southern Syria, have arrested five young men for unknown reasons.

On Thursday, SOHR sources reported that gunmen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps besieged a checkpoint of the regime’s “Air-Force Intelligence” in Al-Harrak town in eastern Daraa, after intelligence services members stationed at the checkpoint had arrested a civilian from the area. The 5th Corps’ members forced the regime’s intelligence services to release the arrested civilian.

Separately, regime security services arrested an engineer from Da’el in the middle countryside of Daraa. The arrested person had served as “chief of a civil council” during the factions’ control of the area.
