Israeli media says Hezbollah is planning a war this summer

An Israeli publication stated on Thursday that a war this summer between Hezbollah and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) is possible.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation “Kan“, quoted Western diplomatic sources in Beirut, who spoke to the newspaper “Okaz”, that all data and reports indicate the possibility of a war this summer between the Lebanese party and Israel.

The western sources reported that Hezbollah feels that it is besieged, and therefore it is ready to go far to break this siege, as it sees that the war against Israel can turn the table and mix all the cards.

They suggested that the confrontation would erupt before the American presidential elections, confirming that its area would be the Lebanese southern border and the Syrian-Israeli border.

The news site added that the Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar had published several days ago that there were some talks within the party about a possible war with Israel in the coming month of August, especially with the announcement of the “Caesar Law”, which would have negative effects on the party and the Lebanese community as a whole.

Hezbollah’s military media released a video earlier this week showing scenes of its precision rockets, along with audio clips of Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, during which he talks about that the precision missiles hitting Tel Aviv and several other areas in Israel.
