North of Raqqa | Fires break out in rural Tal Abyad, as Turkish-backed factions shell several villages

SOHR sources say that Turkish-backed factions shelled the countryside of Tal Abyad, north of Raqqa, targeting the villages of Kurhassan and Silib, setting agricultural lands on fires that the owners were unable to harvest yet.

On June 20, SDF targeted positions of Turkish forces and proxy factions in the village of Kormaza, north of Raqqa.

Turkish forces responded to fire shelling SDF positions near the city of Ain Issa, targeting security checkpoint with several shells, and the silos of Ain Issa in northern Raqqa province.
