Growing tension in Daraa | Large Russian delegation arrives in Bosra Al-Sham

Syrian Observatory sources reported that tension is growing throughout the eastern sector of Daraa countryside following the recent developments and skirmishes between regime forces and the Russian-backed 5ht Corps, especially after yesterday’s clashes between the two sides. Five regime soldiers and two members of the 5th Corps were killed in clashes took place yesterday between the two sides, in addition to expelling regime soldiers from the eastern countryside of Daraa.

 

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that a large Russian delegation arrived this morning in Bosra Al-Sham city in eastern countryside of Daraa escorted by a delegation of the Syrian regime, in order to discuss the recent development, ease the tension in the area and put an end to this conflict.

 

Yesterday, Observatory activists documented the killing of five regime soldiers and two members of the 5th Corps in clashes between the two sides in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

 

Meanwhile, security alertness was prevailing in the towns and villages of Sayda and Kahil after regime forces were expelled from them. The 5th Corps amassed its forces in the villages and towns of Al-Giza, Al-Sahwa, Al-Karak, Um Walad, Bosra al-Sham, Naseeb, Um al-Mayathin and Al-Taybeh in Daraa countryside.
