Daraa | Members of Air-Force Intelligence branch arrest civilians for unknown reasons in countryside

SOHR activists say that members of the Air-Force Intelligence branch of the regime forces arrested two civilians, one of them is the son of the former opposition commander of the “tribal brigade”, as they passed through a checkpoint belonging to the 112nd Brigade near the town of Ain Zaker in western countryside of Daraa, without knowing the reason for the arrest.

On June 27, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that regime soldiers stationed at a checkpoint affiliated to the “Military Security” services at the entrance of Daraa city in southern Syria, arrested five young men for unknown reasons.

Separately, regime security services arrested an engineer from Da’el in the middle countryside of Daraa. The arrested person had served as “chief of a civil council” during the factions’ control of the area.
