Battles in southern Idlib | Regime forces advance in al-Rawiha village, capturing new areas

SOHR sources say that regime forces and loyalists continue their violent attack on rebels’ positions in the village of Al-Ruwayha, south of Idlib, accompanied by an intensive artillery shelling and rocket attack on one another’s positions.

In the meantime, regime forces were able to advance and take control of several houses in the village, after opposition factions had retreated due to an intensive artillery shelling.

Meanwhile, opposition factions have shelled regime forces’ positions in the village of Al-Dana in Ma’rat al-Numan countryside. No casualties have been reported.

Furthermore, regime forces shelled the villages of Jabal al-Zawiya and the southern countryside of Idlib, targeting factions’ positions there. The village of Al-Ziyara and the perimeter of Al-Ankawi were also shelled in Sahl Al-Ghab, northwest of Hama.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this afternoon fierce clashes on Al-Ruwayha frontline in southern countryside of Idlib, accompanied by exchange of shelling.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored violent clashes following an attack by regime forces on the Flifel frontline in Jabal Shahshbo.
