Syrian Regime Bombards Turkish Observation Post: Monitor

ERBIL – The Syrian regime forces on Monday bombarded a Turkish observation post in Idlib with no casualties confirmed yet, a monitor said.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights cited its activists in the area as saying that the regime forces shelled the perimeter of the Turkish observation post in the village of Shannan, Idlib province.

“Meanwhile, Turkish reconnaissance drones were seen flying over Jabal Al-Zawiyah,” SOHR added.

“Also large Russian reconnaissance drones were flying over the western countryside of Idlib, Sahl Al-Ghab and Latakia countryside this morning.”

According to the Britain-based monitoring group, the opposition groups on Monday morning fired several “b6” rockets at the regime positions in Jarrad area of Idlib province and left two regime troops killed while several others were injured.
