Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) | Russian forces expel delegation of Autonomous Administration’s “Star association”

Reliable SOHR sources have confirmed that Russian forces stationed in the Russian base in Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani), have expelled a delegation of the Autonomous-Administration-affiliated association of “Star Conference on Women”. The Russian forces also refused to receive a letter from the association to the Russian president “Vladimir Putin” with a demand to enforce a no-fly zone over the areas of northern and eastern Syria, for fear of possible Turkish airstrikes on the area.

On June 24, SOHR sources said that five people, including three women and a coordinator of the Autonomous Administration’s “Star Conference on Women”, were killed as a result of Turkish drone attack on a house hosting a meeting for a women’s conference in the village of Halnaj in Kobane countryside in eastern Aleppo near the border with Turkey.
