Protests in SDF-held areas | Tens of people demonstrate in eastern Deir Ezzor, calling for disclosing the fate of prisoners in SDF custody

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored tens of people participating in a demonstration in the SDF-controlled village of Gharanij in the eastern countryside of Daraa. The demonstrators demanded the disclosure of the fate of the village’s people who have been detained in SDF prisons. The demonstrators lifted signboards with “we sacrifice our soul and blood for you, prisoner” writing on them. They also lifted posters of prisoners in SDF custody.

Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored tens of people participating in a vigil in front of “Al-Shaab Council” in the SDF-held city of Hajin in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The protesters demanded the improve of living conditions and release of prisoners. They also called for controlling the corruption in SDF local councils.
