US-Russian skirmishes | Regime forces and residents prevent U.S. armoured vehicles from passing in Tal Tamer, and U.S. forces block Russian patrol intervened to disperse gatherings

SOHR sources say that a number of al-Dardara residents and members of regime forces have blocked US armored vehicles at al-Dardara Bridge in the western countryside of Tal Tamer, preventing it from passing.

Meanwhile, a patrol of Russian forces intervened to resolve the dispute between US forces and residents with regime forces, but to no avail, forcing them to retreat and return from another road.

In the meantime, U.S. armoured vehicles blocked a patrol of Russian forces in the village of Ain al-Abed, after passing from there.

This incident comes as a part of the almost-daily skirmishes between US and Russian forces in Al-Hasakah countryside.

SOHR activists monitored earlier this morning that a U.S. military patrol were stationed near Wanek village at the entrance of Al-Malikiyah (Dayrik) this morning. According to SOHR sources, the U.S. patrol aimed to block any Russian patrol attempts to enter Al-Malikiyah.

Meanwhile, Russian forces intensified their patrols in the past few hours in Al-Malikiyah countryside, since a patrol toured villages on the Syria-turkey border to the villages Kasan and Qasr Deeb last night. The patrol headed this morning to Suwadik and Shukr Khan villages in southern Al-Malikiyah.

Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored U.S. forces blocking a patrol of Russian police nearby Al-Malikiyah city in north-eastern Al-Hasakah. Several U.S. armoured vehicles were stationed on the road to Smelka crossing on the Syria-Iraq border and blocked the Russian patrol which was on its way to the border crossing.
