“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces renew shelling villages in southern Idlib

Regime forces fired several rockets in the early hours of Saturday morning, targeting places in Bayanin, Deir Sonbol and Al-Bara in the southern countryside of Idlib. otherwise, tense calm is prevailing in the “de-escalation zone”.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a civilian due to regime rocket attacks on the outskirts of Al-Qahera village in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama. The civilian was collecting caper (Flinders roses) at the time of regime shelling on the village.

 

SOHR source reported earlier that morning that regime forces fired nearly 35 rockets in the early hours of Friday morning, targeting places in Al-Ftera and Sfuhen in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

Meanwhile, opposition factions and Turkish forces replied with shelling positions in the regime-controlled town of Kafr Nubl, leaving human and material losses among regime forces.

 

On the other hand place in Al-Ankawy area in Sahl Al-Ghab also came under regime rocket fire.
