IED attack | Explosion hits SDF checkpoint in eastern Deir Ezzor, injuring many

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported hearing an explosion in Theban town the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED by unknown gunmen targeting SDF checkpoint near the “sheep market” in the town. The explosion injured several SDF members stationed at the hit checkpoint.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that an IED went off in Al-Dahlah village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while an SDF vehicle was passing. No casualties were reported.

 

Meanwhile, an SDF group found and dismantled two other IEDs in the site of the explosion.
