Security campaign | SDF raid village in northern Deir Ezzor, arresting four persons for “belonging to ISIS”

Reliable sources have told the Syrian Observatory that Syria Democratic Forces raided Al-Husayn village near Al-Suwar town in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The raiding forces have arrested four persons for “belonging to ISIS”. Meanwhile, the security campaign coincided with the flight of helicopters affiliated to the International Coalition.

On June 29, SOHR sources reported that an SDF security group, backed by the International Coalition aircraft, raided a house in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Monday. The raiding forces arrested a civilian for “belonging to ISIS”. It is worth noting that SDF and the International Coalition had arrested the same civilian and his son nearly a year earlier, then they released them.

Despite all security campaigns by Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition, ISIS activities are escalating largely in SDF-controlled areas across Syria. These activities are mainly concentrated in Deir Ezzor, especially in the eastern countryside.
