“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces renew shelling positions in southern Idlib, while Russian jets fly over the area

Syrian Observatory activists have reported that regime forces renewed their shelling in the early hours of Monday morning, targeting places in Al-Ftera, Sfuhen and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, many Russian jets have been seen flying over the western countryside of Aleppo and the southern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, Observatory activists monitored artillery shelling by regime forces, targeting the villages of Al-Bara, Fulayfel and Al-Ftera in Jabal al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib, while the factions responded to regime fire by targeting gatherings of regime forces and positions from which rocket were launched.

On the other hand, SOHR activists have reported hearing gunfire with heavy machine guns on the frontlines of al-Manara and Al-Qahira, north-west of Hama, as a result of exchange of fire between regime forces and opposition factions stationed in Sahl Al-Ghab,. No casualties were reported.
