Turkey’s military build-up | Forces send in new convoy to “de-escalation zone”, strengthening presence in Jabal Zawiya

The Syrian Observatory has monitored the entry of a military column of Turkish forces via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib, this evening, consisting of 25 vehicles, including armoured vehicles and military equipment. The column headed towards Turkish military posts in the area of “Putin-Erdogan.”

Turkish military reinforcement arrived today at the military post in Tal Sheikh Tammam near the town of Billion in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 4,405 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.

From February 2 to date, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 7,7 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. While over 11,000 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.
