Idlib explosion | Commander in “Hurras Al-Din” organization killed in Al-Fu’ah

SOHR activists have documented the killing of a jihadi commander who served as a “trainer” of the use of heavy weapons in the ranks of “Hurras Al-Din” jihadi organization. According to SOHR sources, the commander was killed and one of his relatives, an HTS sharia official, was injured in explosion in the commander’s house in Al-Fu’ah town in north-eastern Idlib, while uncertainty surrounds the reasons behind the explosion.

On Sunday, SOHR sources reported that a demonstration took place in the square of Kfraya village, north of Idlib, demanding foreign fighters leave the village. The demonstrators also protested the notifications issued by the Uzbek faction against some families living in the village, demanding the families evacuate their houses.

Meanwhile, the Uzbek faction brought in military reinforcement and deployed on the outskirts of the village to prevent any attack by the locals. Tension was growing in the village as residents stand together against Uzbek members.
