Tal Abyad | Car-bomb explodes leaving casualties, north of Al-Raqqa

SOHR activists have reported hearing a loud explosion in the town of Tal Abyad, which is under the control of Turkish forces and proxy factions in the “Peace Spring” areas.

According to Observatory sources, the blast occurred at the city’s Al-Firn Square, near the “Criminal Security” building, which was turned into a headquarters of Turkish-backed factions.

The explosion left at least two people dead as an initial death toll, and others were injured.

On June 23, SOHR sources reported that the death toll due to car-bomb explosion in Tal Half rose to eight people, including three civilians.

While 15 others were injured, mostly fighters of Turkish-backed factions, some of whom were taken to Turkish hospitals and others to Ras al-Ain hospital in the “Peace Spring” areas.
