Al-Hasakeh countryside | Landmine explodes near SDF checkpoint at the entrance to Abu Racine (Zarkan)

SOHR sources say that a landmine exploded this evening near a security checkpoint belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) at the entrance to Abu Racine from Tal Tamer side in countryside of Al-Hasakeh province. No casualties have been reported.

At the beginning of this month, the Syrian Observatory monitored the arrival of a large part of the military reinforcement brought in by regime forces to the area of Tal Hermel in rural Abu Racine (Zarkan), in order to deploy those forces on the frontlines there.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the deployment will extend from the village of Kasra, north of Abu Racine to Tal Tamer in the Hasakeh countryside.
